• Step 1: Download the SmartHome–SmartLife app. Scan the QR code in your manual or enter the activation code “aurus” to begin.
  • Step 2: Create your account and verify it through your email. Once verified, make sure your mini split is turned on, then tap Add Device (or the “+” icon). Ensure Bluetooth and Location services are enabled on your phone.
  • Step 3: Select Split Air Conditioner from the device list and enter your Wi-Fi network name and password. Important: Your phone must be connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. 5 GHz networks are not supported.
  • Step 4: Reset your mini split into pairing mode by pressing the DISPLAY button on your remote six times until CF appears on the indoor unit’s screen. Confirm this step in the app and continue. If your remote does not have a DISPLAY button, follow the alternative pairing options shown in the app.
  • Step 5: The app will search for your AURUS unit in CF (configuration) mode and complete the connection. Once paired, you can rename your device and begin controlling your AURUS mini split from the app.
